I have noticed my grandpa Raymond sepulveda is listed here as a lost shipmate. If anyone is curious on his location I wanted to let you know he has past away and God has gained another good man. He is very missed by all of his family. If anyone needs to know anything or have questions feel free to contact us. Thank you all for your service and sacrifices.
Thank you for letting us know about your “grandpa” Raymond Sepulveda. We do want to know about all USS ORLECK sailors for our purpose is to honor them in any way that we can. We have a Memorial Roster and I will see to it that Raymond is moved to that roster. I do need his date of death and I will email you for that. Be assured now that as long as we meet in regular reunions of the Destroyer USS ORLECK DD 886 Association, we will read the name of your “grandpa” and all other USS ORLECK sailors that we know have passed to honor them. As family you are welcome to attend these reunions and in fact if you wish to read the name of your loved one, I am sure it could be arranged with our chaplain. Thank you for the information.
